THE OWNERS
We are Glynn and Ann Jones. Together we backpacked around the world, starting in the USA travelling through South America, Australia and Asia before returning to our native London.
Having stayed in some fantastic places, and some pretty terrible ones too, we decided that we would buy a property in Split, where the market was young enough to grow yet already established. Our plan was to create a home from home for visitors and travellers from around the globe and offer somewhere that wasn't always available for us.
We have many great reviews and have met some fantastic people. Most have become good friends and return whenever they can.
Fleka, our cat, is of course the boss around the house and usually makes herself scarce during the day.
Our resident tortoises, some of which were born at Kamena Lodge, are happy to fend for themselves most of the time.
An original 200 year old stone Croatian building which has been refurbished by us since 2005. The property is set within the traditional Croatian village of Mravince at the foot of the Mosor mountain. The building has 5 bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities for our guests comfort. A large kitchen and outside areas offer communal areas and the pool is perfect for relaxing by.
Mravince is a village in Dalmatia, Croatia, located east of Solin. The population is 1,628 (census 2011). Regular buses link it to the centre of Split and surrounding areas.
Local amenities include a mini supermarket, a bakery, bars and a restaurant.
